Program

European Studies is an Honours (Double Major) Interdisciplinary BA program in the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies. European Studies majors must also declare a major in a free-standing discipline in the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies, such as History, Political Science, French, Italian, German, Spanish or Economics.

Students enrolled in this program must complete at least six full-course equivalents (36 credits) in their other major, as well as at least six full course equivalents (36 credits) in European Studies. They are required to meet general education, distribution and other degree requirements that the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies prescribes for Honours students.

European Studies may also be taken as a Minor in an Honours Major/Minor BA program in the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies. European Studies minors must also declare a major in a free-standing discipline in the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies, such as History, Political Science, French, Italian, German, Spanish or Economics.

Students enrolled in this program must complete the normal requirements for their major, as well as at least five full course equivalents (30 credits) in European Studies. They are required to meet general education, distribution and other degree requirements that the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies prescribes for Honours students.
